Courtisane is looking for enthusiastic interns and volunteers for the organisation of the next edition of the festival, which will take place from 30 March 30 to 3 April in various locations across the city of Ghent.

Internships

Courtisane vzw proposes internships in areas such as communication / production / promotion / project research / fundraising / programmation / hospitality

Period : January-April 2011 (length of the internship to be established depending on your availability and your tasks). Courtisane also offers a limited number of internships throughout the year.

Courtisane offers interns a good opportunity to complement years of study with the necessary working experience. At Courtisane interns are full members of the team and get a taste of the different aspects involved in organizing a cultural event.

Courtisane's office is situated in the centre of Ghent, at de Bijlokesite.

Volunteers

Courtisane is also looking for enthousiastic volunteers to assist with the various tasks and events that will take place during the festival (30.03.2010 - 03.04.2010). The Courtisane festival will take place in different venues including Vooruit, Cinema Sphinx, Film Plateau and KASK Cinema.

As a festival and platform to showcase film, video and new media, Courtisane makes a resolute choice for adventure and reflection. Courtisane’s programmation constitutes a kaleidoscopic mosaic of styles, media, gestures and emotions that share an insatiable hunger for experimentation, a personal signature, and a sense of resistance. Courtisane has been organizing a yearly festival since 2002 and will celebrate in 2011 its 10th anniversary. Bringing together an exciting mix of up and coming young talent and established names, the Courtisane festival presents a broad selection of recent Belgian and international film and video works: five days of screenings, performances, concerts. .. five days of encounters and experiences.
