Als festival en vertoningsplatform voor film, video en mediakunst kiest Courtisane resoluut voor avontuur en reflectie. De programma’s van Courtisane vormen een caleidoscopische mozaïek van stijlen, media, gebaren, talen en emoties; een lappendeken van zowel recente als historische werken die verbonden zijn door een onverzadigbare honger naar avontuur, een persoonlijk cachet en een gevoel van weerstand. Courtisane organiseert een jaarlijks festival sinds 2002.
