A portrait of the Kotobukicho district in Yokohama, which has been a refuge for day laborers from the countryside, elderly workers, and the needy since the occupation of Japan. Three members of Ogawa Productions, led by Okumara Yuji, filmed the struggle for survival and testimonies of the residents for ten months with a rare sense of respect and empathy.
