Since April 2023, Sudan has been devastated by a war between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The war has created one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises: millions of people have been displaced, hunger and disease are spreading, and access to food, water, and medical care is being obstructed or destroyed on a massive scale. In this context, local solidarity networks and emergency initiatives are often the only remaining lifeline for civilians.
Funds raised through this campaign will be used to: 1) support emergency relief efforts for affected families in southern Khartoum, respond to the loss of food aid and basic services, and 2) finance the drilling of a new drinking water well for Al Nou village, for safe and sustainable access to water for over 3,000 people.
